At first it may seem like a very difficult task, but with some tips and suggestions this work can become much more pleasant and fun.

That's why we invite you to follow this post. We brought many ideas for you to put everyone to dance, check it out:

Children's party songs: how to choose

Birthday age

The age of the birthday boy is one of the first things to be observed when setting up the children's playlist. Each age group has a distinct musical preference and must be respected.

As a rule, the younger the child, the more playful the music will be. So, a good tip is to start creating the playlist from the songs that the child already hears at home.

However, this does not mean that the same song (or style of music) should play the entire party. This will only serve to amaze your guests and make the party tedious. The good thing is to always vary and mix the musical options. Take the child's taste only as the basis of the playlist.

Party theme

The theme of the party usually has a direct influence on the choice of the playlist. Character-themed parties can include songs from the cartoon or movie in which the character participates.

For example, a Frozen theme party can include songs like “Let it Go” and “Do you want to play in the snow”

On the other hand, themes that take advantage of commemorative dates, such as carnival and the June party, for example, cannot fail to include songs that refer to the style of the party, such as marchinhas and forrós, respectively.

Let the birthday boy choose

Another tip for the success of the playlist is to let the birthday boy help to choose the songs of the party, especially in the case of older children who already have a more defined musical taste.

But remember to explain to them that the selection of songs must satisfy all the guests.

Think about all the guests

Hitchhiking in the previous item, the tip here is to think about all the guests who will be at the party and try to diversify the playlist as much as possible, but always remembering that the songs must be in accordance with the children's universe.

For example, do you have many adults? Try putting on to play children's songs from the past, such as those of the group Balão Mágico and Trem da Alegria. The songs of Xuxa, Mara Maravilha, Eliana and Angélica cannot be missed.

Other good options for bringing adults to the dance floor are the Menudo and Domino groups. Don't forget the duo Sandy and Júnior, they will also liven up the party.

Music and games

Music always combines with play, especially when it comes to children's parties. So, set aside a corner at the party for the kids to play and have fun to the sound of a very lively track.

To start, you can propose a chair dance. This classic game works like this: place several chairs in the shape of a circle, but remember that there must always be one chair unless the number of participants, that is, if ten children are playing there must be nine chairs in play.

Place the children to circulate around the chairs to the music. When the music stops everyone should look for a chair to sit on, whoever cannot sit down leaves the game and takes a chair with them. Whoever sits in the last chair wins.

Another cool game is that of the statue. This is very simple and you will only need to ask the children to be paralyzed when the music stops, just like a statue, whoever moves, leaves the game.

You can also play “what's the song”, “complete the next verse” or, who knows, even a dance contest.

How to make the playlist

Now that you have chosen all the songs you must be asking: how to put the playlist to play?

Nowadays it is very common to use the cell phone itself, but there are other ways to put the sound in the box, check out:

Electronic media

The good old CD is still active and may be an option for the party playlist. However, if the songs are not in MP3 format you will most likely need a few dozen CDs to guarantee a varied selection throughout the party.

Another option is pen drives and memory cards, which have a greater storage capacity, but are also limited.

If you choose one of these options above, make sure that the sound equipment has input for the chosen media.

Youtube

Youtube is also a good choice for creating playlists. Just have an account to access the site and you're done, you create your own selection.

The cool thing about creating the playlist on Youtube is the possibility to play the videos together with the songs, which makes the party even more fun.

To play the YouTube playlist at the party you will need a cell phone with internet access connected to a sound device.

Spotify

Spotify is another great resource for creating playlists. The streaming service offers music, videos and podcasts that can be used in a very similar way to Youtube. However, to access the tool, you must sign one of the plans offered by the company.

Did you like the tips? Now just make your own selection of songs for children's party and have fun!
