Materials needed for felt cloud
- A piece of felt in the color of your choice
- Sewing thread in color of felt
- Pink sewing thread for the little mouth of the cloud
- Black beads for eyes
- Acrylic blanket
- Pin
- Sewing needle
- Scissors
- Mold
Everything separate? So it’s time to follow the step by step:
Step 1: With the mold in hand, scratch the cloud on the piece of felt on the wrong side. Then, turn the mold on its side and make a new drawing. And why do you need to turn the mold? So that the moment you join the two parts, the shape of the cloud will fit together.

Step 3: Next, sew both sides using the buttonhole stitch. Don’t know how to do it? The following video teaches you, just play:
Remember to leave a small space to fill the cloud with the acrylic blanket.
Step 4: Place the acrylic blanket inside the cloud. Take care that the entire length of the cloud is completely filled by the blanket, so you guarantee a uniform and even finish.
Step 5: Close this small part of the cloud with the buttonhole stitch.
Step 6: Now it’s time to do the details of your cloud. To do this, sew two beads slightly spaced from each other to form the eyes. The little mouth can be made with pink thread and with some decorative stitch, like the little chain.
Step 7: Finish the felt cloud by adding a hook or other type of support you want.
