Symbols of luxury, technology, economic power and modernity, the tallest buildings in the world are a challenge for engineering while fascinating the eyes of those who see them.
Do you know any of the tallest buildings in the world? Do you know what they are? So today’s post will let you know the whole subject.
Come on!
Classification criteria
Who classifies the height of the tallest buildings in the world is the Council On Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat(Council of Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat), an international non-profit organization founded in 1969 and headquartered in Chicago, USA.
According to the organization, the classification criteria used to determine the ranking of the tallest buildings in the world is the structural or architectural height, that is, the highest point constructed.
However, this classification criterion ends up generating some controversies, because it includes pinnacles and antennas in the calculations, which can end up causing divergences between the lists.
