Snoopy and its 70 years of history
In 2020, Snoopy and his gang turn 70 years old. The characters were officially born on 02 and October 1950 under the features of the American cartoonist Charles Schulz. Altogether, at the time, seven newspapers published the drawing that won the name of Peanuts.
The success was so great that in 1965 the cartoon won an animated series for television. Since then, the Peanuts it was taken to about 75 countries reaching an estimated audience of 355 million people.
The series Peanuts inaugurated a new way of making comics: the four-strip model. So much so that even today this type of comic is followed by several cartoonists in several countries around the world.
The last Snoopy comic strip was published on January 3, 2000. Charles Schulz passed away shortly after that date, on February 12. The cartoonist suffered from Parkinson's disease and in his last drawings it was already possible to notice the influence of the disease on the artist.
In 2006 the group won a feature film titled in Portuguese as “Peanuts, the film".
Even with the death of the cartoonist, the characters did not fall into oblivion and, despite the absence of new comics (Schulz did not want other cartoonists to continue the story) Snoopy and his friends continue to be a reference for the adult and children's comic universe.
Snoopy characters that can't be left out of the party
A complete Snoopy Party needs all the characters in the class, starting with the theme character: the Snoopy puppy.
Snoopy is a Beagle puppy, very smart and full of skills, even able to type stories on the typewriter and play baseball.
Snoopy is the pet of the sad and melancholy boy Charlie Brown, another important character in the cartoon. Together, they become one of the friendliest and most faithful pairs in comic books.
Another stamped figure in the drawing is the little boy Linus van Pelt, Charlie Brow's best friend and who walks around with his “security blanket”.
Linus' older sister Lucy is another iconic character in the cartoon. The girl's favorite hobby is to mistreat Charlie Brow.
Also part of the cast are Schroeder, Paty Pimentinha, Marcie, Chiqueirinho, Sally Brow and Woodstock, Snoopy's pet bird.
Snoopy Party Decoration
To create a real Snoopy party you need to have some fundamental and indispensable elements. See below what they are:
Invitation
Every party needs invitations, but when the theme is Snoopy you already know that you will need to put this cute character in evidence for the guests.
The tip for those who want something very traditional is to use the scene of the Snoopy puppy lying on the roof of the house. Nobody will have any doubts about the theme of the party.
Don't forget to put the party information in a clear and objective way, ok?
Colors
The classic colors for the Snoopy party are black, white, yellow and red, but you can still add a touch of blue.
These colors can be present in every detail of the party, including the cake, sweets and balloons.
Decorative elements
Party that is party has balloon, panel and candy table. The difference in a party with a Snoopy theme are the colors and the characters that must be present in all the decoration.
A tip is to make the best arrangements with balloons, investing in casual arches or suspended arrangements. It is also worth betting on character tags on the sweets and as a centerpiece.
Also remember to personalize the ornaments with the name and age of the birthday boy.
And since Snoopy and his gang appeared in newspaper strips, there is nothing more fair than decorating the party with comics.
Snoopy Cake
The Snoopy party cake deserves special attention, after all, it is one of the main attractions of the party. Therefore, the tip is to bet on a cake model with the colors of the design and the characters. American paste, whipped cream and rice paper are some of the coverage options.
For those who want something simpler, the best choice are cakes on one floor, since those who want to give that extra touch to the party, can invest in a cake with two or three floors.
Snoopy Party Favors
And to close the Snoopy Party with a golden key, nothing better than distributing personalized and very creative souvenirs.
For children, what is always successful is the surprise bags with sweets and treats. In that case, provide only a Snoopy-themed package.
If you want something more elaborate or different, it is worth considering the cakes and pot sweets or cupcakes decorated with the characters of the class.
Another good idea is Snoopy drawing kits to paint. Remember to include colored pencils.
